Three New Tea Bowls

I just pulled a few bowls out the kiln.  These are about 5″ tea bowls (often call Chawan).

I don’t have a web store, but I have lots of inventory.  Feel free to contact me and stop by if you in the Madison, WI area.  My info is in About tab in the up right corner of the page.  A chawan is $40 as of this post.

Here is a quick distinction between the different Japanese names given to pottery objects:

Yunomi – Tea Cup – Taller than wide

Chawan – Tea Bowl – shaped like a bowl

Guinomi – Small Cup – “one gulp” used for sake
