Online Sculpture Class
Starting on Thursday, May 7th at 3:30 pm, Green Road Pottery will host a free live sculpture class on YouTube. Archives of the sculpture class will be posted on this page.
During this time of Stay at Home, Brook has been working to create at home activities. Many of you have participated in Green Road Pottery events like make a gnome, elf, or frog. Now he has found a good material to use at home that will provide the same kind of creative exploration.
Paperclay will dry hard in 1-2 days and can be added to with more paperclay or glue. After it is hard, any type of paint or markers can be used to color it. The finished figure is not weather proof, so they will have to stay inside, but varnish can be used to make the paint more durable.
The Paperclay is available in 8 or 16 ounce sizes, and the paint will be Prang washable tempra with a brush (during my testing, the Crayola washable became unavailable).
