I had a friend stop by the studio and I showed him my new work of sculptural bowls. I don’t have the series completed yet, but he walked out with this one. This piece was carved very deeply to form thin veins. The form follows from my exploration of mushroom textures, but it also floats into the realm of the sea.
I hope to have the series finished in the next few months.
